CaseCentral, a provider of secure, cloud-based eDiscovery software that helps corporate counsel and law firms in simplifying electronic discovery (eDiscovery), will launch the Release 5 (R5), the enhanced version of its secure, cloud-based eDiscovery software.
With the help of the new CaseCentral R5 eDiscovery Platform, enterprises will be able to streamline workflows and deploy multiple tools within a single, integrated and convenient application for the different stages of eDiscovery. It will enable corporations, law firms, IT and legal departments to manage litigation matters, regulatory inquiries and internal investigations in an enhanced, quick, secure and low-cost manner.
The company has been offering repeatable, defensible and measurable business processes for cutting down risk, cost and time associated with eDiscovery since 1994. It has served over 32 of the Fortune 100 companies.
“Cloud-based eDiscovery software can provide important benefits to corporations and law firms,” commented George Socha Jr., Esq., founder of Socha Consulting. “These benefits can include lower costs and improved service delivery, resulting in less time and waste.”
The new CaseCentral R5 features a unified user interface that increases convenience of operation, and adopts a standard look and feel across all interfaces to offer a smooth experience. It has been designed using the familiar Outlook-style user interface, which makes it easy for the users to benefit from the new CaseCentral R5 layout. The solution reduces different interfaces for different tasks to enhance user self-sufficiency, and enables the users to preview documents in context or formulate complex searches though the new advanced search UI and saved clauses.
“CaseCentral R5 was driven by direct feedback from our customers and clients to leverage the inherent advantages of a cloud-based eDiscovery delivery model for in-house eDiscovery,” said Steve d’Alencon, chief marketing officer at CaseCentral. “R5 facilitates greater collaboration between legal and IT departments by delivering an end-to-end eDiscovery platform that utilizes state-of-the art technology and self-service capabilities to reinvent the user experience. With R5, customers achieve faster time-to-value and significantly reduced time, risk and cost, as a result of a repeatable, defensible in-house eDiscovery process.”
Earlier this month, CaseCentral announced a strategic alliance to combine its eDiscovery platform with Mitratech’s TeamConnect Legal Suite. The joint offering provides corporations with the most comprehensive legal management platform available to meet complex litigation, regulatory compliance, matter management and e-Billing challenges across the phases of eDiscovery.
