Gizmox Debuts Instant CloudMove, an Automated Tool-Based Solution

Gizmox, a provider of enterprises with tools to transform existing desktop applications to web, launched its new and first ever automated tool-based solution – Instant CloudMove. It is designed to transform enterprise client/server applications from desktop to a Cloud/Web and mobile deployment.

The company’s Visual WebGui (News - Alert) (VWG) is a Web/Cloud/Mobile application delivery platform that was born in order to bring a solution that combines the best of all worlds; desktop Client/Server, Web, Ajax RIA and application virtualization. The new Instant CloudMove leverages the VWG virtualization app and streaming platform to offer a virtualized desktop app that features browser accessibility with no plug-ins that maintains the same desktop-grade security, richness and performance.

The company claimed that Instant CloudMove is the only solution that allows Client/Server application migration to the Web and Cloud with scalable, secured-by-design native Web or mobile based accessibility which makes the need for rewrite or reengineering redundant. Some of the benefits of this solution are: less than 5% of rewrite; shortest time-to-market; reduced risks; standard browser access (plug-in free); ability to modernize to Windows or Web 2.0 UIs; lower operational costs; and more.

The VWG virtualizes Windows desktop applications at code level on top of standard Web server or VWG dedicated application server. This allows native HTML/HTML5-based browser accessibility anywhere, from any browser and device.

Gizmox claimed that its vision is to enable enterprises, SMBs and individuals to transform their own business applications into SaaS (News - Alert) deployments without specialized expertise or training.
