HP Thinking Outside The Box By Performing Live Comedy

A new genre of comedy is coming to Youtube. HP is bringing actors together from the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater to perform live skit ideas submitted by viewers in conjunction with being broadcast on HP for Home Facebook (News - Alert) page .

Dubbed HP ePrint Live, the show will be inducted by comedian Rob Riggle and ideas that are chosen will be performed live. Viewers can send in their ideas to by e-mailing one of HP’s Internet-connected ePrint printers that will be located on the stage.

The date of the show’s premiere will be January 21 and HP will holding a Youtube page “take over”.  The event starts at 3:00 p.m. ET and will conclude on January 26.

Viewers can submit their original ideas in a variety of formats from drawings and poems to photos or even a single word. Simply e-mail your creative ideas to [email protected]  during the week and if your skit is a lucky winner, a link to the video will be e-mailed directly to you.

Viewers can conveniently tune in at any time and then share their favorite skits because all skits are performed swiftly and then released as short videos.

Trying something different is not new to Hewlett-Packard (News - Alert) and by implementing comedy with technology, they will be able to reach a whole different multitude of target audiences. It is a great way to get its brand more out into the open at a time when people are overwhelmed with choices.
