Skura Launches SKURA SFX Mobile Suitable for Tablet Devices

Skura Corporation, a provider of sales enablement solutions, announced the launch of its latest SFX product suite application, SKURA SFX Mobile.

In a release, Jeff Wessinger, president of Skura Corporation said, “Develop once, deploy many, was our design protocol for the creation of SKURA SFX Mobile. With over 80 new tablet hardware devices planned for release in 2010/2011, we chose to develop an application that is totally device agnostic with full online/offline capabilities.”

“This means SKURA SFX Mobile will work on Apple (News - Alert) iPad, Android Tablets, Blackberry Playbook, and any other new device that launches in the foreseeable future,” Wessinger added.

During the CES (News - Alert) 2011, about 80 new tablet devices were launched. This indicates the growing popularity of tablet devices and it also reveals an opportunity and demand for other tablets featuring different screen sizes, operating systems and device specific features in the market.

There were many tablets based on Google’s (News - Alert) Android software which goes to show the growing popularity of the platform. The Blackberry Playbook’s capability to play Adobe Flash content was demonstrated at CES 2011. This device will also become popular as most corporate digital content have already been created in SWF format, explained Skura sources.

Gordan Bakalar, CTO of Skura Corporation said, “Our objective was to create a platform independent application without developing device specific code. This will be accomplished by using W3C (News - Alert) compliant technologies, including HTML5, and Javascript.”

According to Bakalar, SFX Mobile is truly a unique application which leverages hardware specific features like touch gesturing enabling greater interactivity from the same code base. SFX Mobile works online or offline providing an anytime, anywhere user experience. It is also immune to any hardware or OS changes that may occur in future, he noted.

The SKURA SFX Sales Enablement solution delivers sales content management through SFX Viewer, personal and non-personal cloud presentation delivery via SFX Webflow, and predictive analytics through Channel Mix Optimizer all of which serve as intuitive and addictive interfaces. This makes it easy to publish, manage, distribute and present personalized digital content for improving sales conversation, added company officials.

Ontario-based Skura offers its clients a unique value proposition as a provider of Sales Enablement solutions. It specializes in software products and services, like the SFX Suite, enabling innovative sales and marketing solutions.

The SKURA SFX product suite helps organizations improve client relationships by delivering the right information, to the right person, at the right time, in the right place, through the right channel.
