Jungo's USBware Now Supports USB 3.0 Specification

According to a recent press release, Jungo Ltd declared that its USBware embedded software protocol stack now supports the USB 3.0 specification (also known as SuperSpeed USB).

The leading global provider of connectivity software solutions has again proven its leadership in the embedded USB software market with its support for USB 3.0. USBware with USB 3.0 support will be demonstrated in the Jungo (News - Alert) booth at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2011) in Las Vegas, from Jan. 6 – 9.

Having a comprehensive 5 Gbps data rate, USB 3.0 is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and has better power handling capabilities.

“We expect to see a massive uptake of USB 3.0 for a variety of devices over the next few years,” said Jungo Connectivity Software General Manager, Ophir Herbst, in a statement. "We look forward to supporting both our existing customer base and new customers as they migrate to faster USB connectivity.”

With USBware, device manufactures can easily incorporate USB connectivity in their designs. Not only it has already been ported with USB 3.0 support to dozens of different operating systems and real time environments, but is also compatible with any USB 3.0 hardware. As a result, Jungo customers can advance to the next level of USB performance, without changing their current environments.

Various leading device manufacturers and OEMs in numerous industries use Jungo’s USBware. Some industries where USBware is used are consumer electronics, automotive, medical equipment and military. The products using USBware include smartphones, digital cameras, media players, TVs, set top boxes and many other types of consumer devices.

At CES (News - Alert) 2011, Jungo will be on booth 36505 in the USB TechZone, South Hall 4 (upper level) of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). To meet with Jungo at CES 2011, please contact Daphna Weiss or Yuval Ben-Zeev or arrange a meeting via website.
