Cloud Jolt Introduces Socially Responsible Web Hosting

Newly launched Web hosting company Cloud Jolt is focused on Web hosting services, as well as an outlet for individuals and businesses to give back to their communities.

This socially responsible business venture was started by four entrepreneurs at Babson College: Augustin Ba, Alex Friedberg, Alex Shearer, and John Rioux.

Cloud Jolt notes that for those joining Cloud Jolt, 25 percent of a total payment will be given to the non-profit organization of a person’s choice.

Users will get the opportunity to choose from eight featured charities and can also decide to give to other organizations. Going forward, Cloud Jolt will partner with more charities to give their clients increased choices of causes to support.

Cloud Jolt says that it envisions Web hosting not as a business asset, but rather a networking opportunity and a brand builder. Businesses deciding to host with Cloud Jolt will leverage its social media and public relations outlets to help raise awareness about their company. Cloud Jolt will blog about those companies that are newly launched or are introducing a new product line.

These blogs will be posted through all of Cloud Jolt’s social networks to connect businesses with their network.

Cloud Jolt emphasizes that it is more than a Web hosting company because it cares about the success of a business and genuinely wants to see the world turn into a better place.

The company is currently searching to sign new clients for Web hosting services, connect with charities who would be interested in partnering with their efforts, and create mutually beneficial partnerships in the business world.
