LANDesk Signs Global Delivery Alliance with Wipro Technologies

LANDesk Software, a major player in systems lifecycle management, endpoint security and IT service management, entered into a global delivery alliance with Wipro (News - Alert) Technologies, the Global Consulting, System Integration and Outsourcing Business of Wipro Limited.

The partnership relation between both the companies will offer many benefits to the customers including automation and increased productivity in the areas of desktop and mobility, asset management and endpoint security.

The Deskside Managed Services of Wipro is complimented by LANDesk (News - Alert) with its LANDesk Management Suite for systems management and LANDesk Security Suite for endpoint security. Wipro DMS is a lifecycle approach to managing laptops, desktops, multi-functional devices, printers and other deskside devices including non-IT devices, spread across the globe.

In addition to this, the alliance will also allow LANDesk to leverage Wipro’s vast global technical pool of resources to provide new managed services to large enterprise organizations. a gamut of services including desktop management, asset management and security management will be addressed by this partnership.

In related news, LANDesk Software has introduced the LANDesk Management Automation Platform, an IT process management solution, designed, the Company noted, to enable organizations to easily define, design, implement and execute cross platform IT automation initiatives.
