Peak 10, a managed service company trusted for scalable, economical and reliable solutions for hosting and managing complex information technology infrastructure, recently announced the winning of a major client in nationally renowned wine company, Brown-Forman.
Through press release, Peak 10 informed that Louisville, Ky , based Brown-Forman will relocate its global data center and entire network to a Peak 10 data center. The managed service provider however did not disclose the location.
Brown-Forman is one of the largest American-owned spirits and wine companies, and among the top 10 largest global spirits companies. The tie-up with Peak 10 is a part of the wine company’s corporate initiative to mitigate risk and distribute its support services globally.
Headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., Peak 10 works closely with the North Carolina Technology Association and North Carolina's Department of Commerce to educate companies across the country about North Carolina's friendly business environment, low state taxes and cost-effective electrical rates, and vibrant technology community.
Interesting to note that in recent months many companies including Google, Apple, IBM (News
- Alert) and American Express have all announced plans to locate large data centers in North Carolina.
Vice president and chief information officer at Brown-Forman, T.J. Graven, said in a statement that his company pondered over several options before finally zeroing on Peak 10. According to Graven, Peak 10's services are well suited to service the wine giant’s global technology infrastructure needs

The company offers a wide range of technology services including virtualization, managed hosting, and cloud-based services in a cost-efficient and reliable platform for its customers.

A couple pf month back, Peak 10 announced signing a deal with opengear, a leading provider of next generation console server and remote management solutions, to remotely manage virtualization, managed services and cloud based services.
