Brocade unveiled the highlights of its fourth quarter results for 2010 and beyond, which relies on the new innovative products launched by the company.
According to company sources, the new products introduced include Brocade (News - Alert) VCS technology; the Brocade MLXe 100 Gigabit Ethernet core router and Brocade network advisor which is a unified network management platform for SANs and IP networks.
These product introductions cater to the needs of customers that include data center consolidation, virtualization and cloud-optimized networking.
The other achievements highlighted by the company include the official opening of the state-of-the-art Brocade data center and R and D engineering labs at its new San Jose campus. The center and labs feature latest advancements in energy efficiency and sustainable design elements.
Also, the new campus will serve as the backdrop for the 2010 Silicon Valley Leadership Group’s Data Center Efficiency Summit. It is expected that hundreds of data center experts will attend the summit for promoting industry best practices.
The various products and solutions launched by the company include Ethernet fabric solutions for enabling virtualized data centers and cloud-optimized networks. Brocade also offers a powerful 100 Gigabit Ethernet router and a unified network management platform for complete SAN and IP Control.
Brocade sources added in a release that its solutions help eliminate network complexity in virtualized IT environments besides boosting channel partner profitability with new services and support programs. The company also empowers the channel to increase expertise in convergence and cloud technologies.
