WhiteHat Deploys Isilon for Unifying IT Infrastructure

Isilon scale-out storage has been deployed by WhiteHat Security to power its SaaS (News - Alert)-based website risk management solution. An announcement in this regard has been made by the top provider of scale-out storage, Isilon.

WhiteHat unified its IT infrastructure using Isilon’s X-Series. WhiteHat will now be able to better manage over 2,900 websites on a single, shared storage resource. Service reliability and efficiency will also be improved as the data management has been simplified. Ten million HTTP requests per day can now be processed by WhiteHat with Isilon. Website risk for its growing customer base can therefore be now eliminated by WhiteHat.

Isilon’s X-Series has been deployed by WhiteHat in collaboration with FusionStorm, channel partner of Isilon. Potential downtime and costly management of WhiteHat’s previous NAS will be eliminated with OneFS operating system, one of the features of Isilon's X-Series.

The entire IT infrastructure of WhiteHat has been consolidated on a single file system and point of management with Isilon. Service reliability and operational efficiency are maximized and at the same time storage administration is minimized.
