Forrester Identifies Informatica as a Leader

In its report, “The Forrester (News - Alert) Wave: Enterprise Data Quality Platforms, Q4 2010,” Forrester Research identified Informatica Corporation as a “Leader.” Informatica provides data integration software to the clients.

Along with Informatica, Forrester has also recognized Trillium Software, Dataflux, and many others as a leader in this category.

According to Forrester Research (News - Alert), “Informatica has made strides in delivering business user data stewardship capabilities to support business/IT collaboration — a weakness across the DQ market as a whole.” Forrester has also stated that Informatica Data Quality is closely embedded and shares the same architecture as PowerCenter. Informatica emerges as a Leader in enterprise data quality with this technology marriage, along with a strong focus on usability and a clear product strategy, stated Forrester.
