Gluster Now a Mezeo Ready Storage Solution Partner

Mezeo Software, a provider of a deployable platform for cloud storage, announced an open storage software platform provider Gluster as a Mezeo Storage Solution Partner.

The Mezeo Ready Program is designed to make it even easier for customers to find and deploy Mezeo Ready solutions. Mezeo said that it carefully evaluates its solution partners to ensure that they are offering solutions that are reliable. Through its partners, the company offers reliable, integrated client, backup and archiving and cloud gateway solutions. And the Mezeo Ready community is made up of service providers, customers, developers, cloud gateway providers and technology partners all focused on delivering cloud storage solutions.

As a Mezeo Ready solution, the Gluster Storage Platform enables organizations using a Mezeo-enabled private, hybrid or public storage cloud to realize the cost, scalability and performance benefits of the Gluster Storage Platform.

According to Gluster, the Gluster Storage Platform is an open source clustered storage solution. The software is a powerful and flexible solution that simplifies the task of managing unstructured file data whether you have a few terabytes of storage or multiple petabytes. Gluster Storage Platform integrates the file system, an operating system layer, and a web-based management interface and installer.

“We welcome Gluster as a Mezeo Ready Partner, and believe that our customers will be excited about being able to deploy petabyte-scale storage in a Mezeo cloud in just a matter of minutes. Gluster's modular design makes it highly scalable and flexible, which is ideal for anyone needing to move large amounts of unstructured data into the cloud,” said Steve Lesem, president and CEO of Mezeo, in a release.

Ben Golub, CEO at Gluster, added that the company delivers the ability to store large amounts of data as well as the ability to respond to dynamically changing demands and workloads. This is especially important for customers in industries such as Web applications, digital media and healthcare.
