NaviSite Launches Apple iPad Support

NaviSite, Inc. is a well known provider of enterprise-class hosting, managed cloud services, managed application and managed messaging. The company recently introduced Apple (News - Alert) iPad support for the NaviCloud AppCenter management console. Now, IT organizations will be able to easily provision and manage NaviCloud resources using an iPad from anywhere at any time. By using a portable window in its cloud operations, IT organizations can be much more nimble and agile in support of their businesses.

The AppCenter is an innovative, web-based console for creating, managing, and monitoring resources on the NaviCloud platform. It has an intuitive interface that enables customers to configure, modify, decommission, and even clone resources through simple point-and-click operations and drop-down menus.

In a press release, Denis Martin, CTO of NaviSite (News - Alert), said, "Customers can now use an iPad to access all of AppCenter's capabilities. They can create, monitor, and manage their cloud-based IT environments from anywhere, even on a plane at 30,000 feet."
