V.i. Labs' New CodeArmor Intelligence 3.0 Offers Software Business Intelligence

In recent years, cloud computing has become remarkable way to increase the existing capabilities of  IT, particularly without investing in new infrastructure, training new personnel, or licensing new software. Now cloud computing has emerged as  one of the fast growing segments of the IT industry.

V.i. Laboratories, Inc., a software intelligence solutions provider, has introduced CodeArmor Intelligence version 3.0, a new application built on Force.com, salesforce.com's enterprise cloud computing platform. The new integration provides software vendors with a solution for the seamless delivery of business intelligence on the use and misuse of their applications. In addition, the company announced a partnership with salesforce.com that allows for seamless delivery of software intelligence data and dashboards.

Kendall Collins, chief marketing officer, Salesforce.com (News - Alert) said that ISVs can use V.i. Labs on Force.com to quickly determine any misuse of their apps and bringing together Force.com with V.i. Labs' CodeArmor Intelligence technology helps our partners ensure success.

Joseph Noonan, president and CEO, V.i. Labs said that ISVs can now review their data in a Force.com dashboard and leverage both detailed reports and filtering capabilities to make data-driven decisions about which companies to pursue first or which geographical regions require the most attention and allowing the collected data to work seamlessly with current tools is crucial to customer success as it can then be properly assessed and acted upon.

The new OEM partnership with Salesforce.com allows V.i. Labs to provision and centrally maintain a software intelligence dashboard for any ISV, whether cloud-based or on-premise. This partnership enables both the companies to share information across marketing, sales, product management, legal and compliance teams and speed the cycle time for recouping lost revenue and tracking how products are used. It enables integration of piracy, trial download and usage data into standalone and existing Salesforce.com instances.
