New CSP Program Launched by Linux Professional Institute

Now you can advance your proficiency in free and open source software solutions as the Linux Professional Institute (LPI (News - Alert)) has launched a brand new program for it service organizations and other technical solutions providers.

The  global program will launch in Latin America, North America and Spain in 2011. The LPI has already launched in Europe (http://www.lpi-solution.eu/) and Japan (http://www.lpi.or.jp/bp/), and has molded a new program so that the entire world can benefit. LPI has delivered over 260,000 exams and 87,000 LPIC certifications around the world since 1999.

In a release Jim Lacey, president and CEO of LPI, said "The LPI Certified Solution Partner program is a great way for systems developers or solution providers to showcase their knowledge and skills in Linux and Free and Open Source (News - Alert) Software. Participating IT businesses will be able to demonstrate to potential customers that they have qualified staff who subscribe to a recognized professional standard."

With the new program, any company can participate with their innovation and become a part of the global database. Any customer from any part of the world would be able to know the availability of the services through the huge database.

Since its inception, various IT Industries, communities, government entities, education and research institutes, and even individual customers have helped LPI distribute a range of solutions at worldwide level. Its certification program has already earned accolades in five continents. Offered in multiple languages, the program is distributed at 7,000 locations.
