Education Publishing and Technology Company Selects EasyLink Services

An un-named company specializing in education publishing and technology reportedly has selected EasyLink Services for complete electronic data interchange solutions.

"The customer, a predominate leader in education technology, is benefiting from EasyLink's ability to streamline operations and manage costs. In addition, they recognize EasyLink's inexhaustible customer service," said Kevin Maloney, senior vice president, global sales and marketing of EasyLink in a statement.

Maloney said customers are realizing more applications for EasyLink's reliable Value Added Network, as well as the efficient process management and trading enablement tools, which ultimately fortify their revenue by saving time and errors.

EDI Value Added Network is a messaging platform which officials say offers unsurpassed network reliability and a user-friendly web applet.

The education technology and publishing company has increased its reliance on electronic data interchange solutions. EasyLink answers this need, helping their businesses run more efficiently.

Officials said that in addition, the company is investigating the use of EasyLink's OnDemand Messaging services for additional efficiencies in their supply chain for non-EDI complaint customers.

EasyLink Services (News - Alert) International Corporation (EasyLink), headquartered in Norcross, GA, offers a comprehensive portfolio of "any to any" business messaging and transaction services that can bridge the most challenging technology gaps while creating significant cost efficiencies across an organization.

Back in May, EasyLink Services International Corporation had announced that Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has selected EasyLink's Managed EDI Services.

Processing over 1,000 invoices each month, the Commonwealth conducted a study to determine the costs associated with the manual processing of invoices. Their study concluded that the cost per invoice processed was $12.00. By implementing EasyLink's EDI solutions they are realizing a savings of thousands of dollars per month, on invoice processing alone, since EasyLink's EDI solution costs only pennies per invoice.

EDI not being a core competency for The Commonwealth, they searched for a partner who was proficient in EDI and data transformation services and who could manage EDI documents for them in proprietary formats. EasyLink demonstrated the ability to implement a secure, customized solution quickly and within budget.
