Press8 Telecom Donates VoIP Hosted PBX Services to Homeless Coach

Press8 Telecom has donated VoIP hosted PBX (News - Alert) services to Austin-based non-profit Homeless Coach organization.

Homeless Coach a volunteer organization fiscally sponsored by the Austin Community Foundation a 501c3.

The group has worked with local businesses to completely renovate an RV being used for community coaching of the homeless in Austin, TX.

"We met with the organization,” said Martin Field, CEO of Press8 Telecom, “and after seeing what a great idea they had, we wanted to help.”

“We setup a Press8 VoIP hosted PBX account for them and a conference bridge. Now the Homeless Coach volunteers can easily hold unlimited attendee conference calls anytime day or night,” said Field in a statement.

According to the Austin/Travis County Ending Community Homelessness Coalition, the homeless population count in the Austin/Travis County area in 2010 was 2,585.

Field said that the company feels privileged to be a part of the Homeless Coach team and want to do whatever the company can to help them succeed.

Field has also been donating his time to help with the renovations. The Homeless Coach RV will be unveiled on November 28th in Pflugerville, TX.
