Mu Dynamics (News - Alert), a provider of validating and testing application-aware networks, announced the introduction of Blitz, a cloud-based load and scale testing solution.

There is a market need to ensure network-connected applications scale for the number of users accessing it, according to company officials. Social media usage in the mobile space has increased and their applications use Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to communicate across platforms.

Blitz targets developers of mobile applications accessing content through APIs. The testing solution from MU Dynamics helps optimize those applications for scalability and performance.

Current offerings for cloud-based load testing are designed for testing static websites and enterprise applications, and are not affordable for developers of mobile applications.

Testing cannot be performed because of the time and cost involved in it. Blitz takes away these objections with a self-service and affordable solution that any software development team can use.
