Aptela Adds Acrobits Softphone to Its AnywhereSM Apps Mobility Suite

Aptela (News - Alert), a well-known provider of business-class phone services to small businesses and mobile workers throughout the country, recently announced that it has added the Acrobits Softphone to its AnywhereSM Apps mobility suite.

This announcement comes on the heels of Aptela's launch of Aptela v5.0 which is the company's new platform. This new platform is designed to provide small businesses and entrepreneurs with the tools required to spontaneously manage and control their business communications.

Internet Calling: Acrobits allows you to use your mobile phone as a business extension. This will avoid precious mobile minute wastage when you call the office or other Aptela customers.

International Calling: International calls placed to the United States using a customer's iPhone (News - Alert) is treated as local calls and routed via Aptela.

Extended Coverage: Even if there is no cellular network coverage, the Aptela customers are able to use their Acrobits Softphone to make calls as long as a WiFi (News - Alert) hotspot is available.

Contact Integration: Your Aptela contacts can be integrated to your iPhone contact list for easy access and complete contact integration.

Quickdial Panel: You are able to dial up to 12 contacts with just one tap of a finger.

Push Notifications: When the Acrobits Softphone is not running, you can receive Push Notifications for incoming calls on your iPhone. You only need to just tap to open the Softphone and answer the call.

Business Presence: While using your Acrobits Softphone to make outgoing calls, your outbound Caller ID shows the number you have already set in your account regardless of the current location. This helps you to remain connected with your business.

Call History: All calls made through the Aptela SIP Account are available in the call history for tracking and reporting.

Anywhere Menu: If you are on a mobile VoIP call, you can use the Aptela Anywhere menu to forward the call to your Aptela voicemail, an extension or a phone number.

Call Recording: Aptela Anywhere menu helps you to record calls directly on your mobile phone. Also, you can review and manage recordings within the Aptela User Dashboard.
