generationE Selects Inetsoft's Dashboard Reporting Software

InetSoft Technology, a provider of dashboard, reporting and mashup solutions, has announced that its dashboard reporting software, Style Scope, has been selected by generationE, a provider of IT operations solutions. Style Scope will provide the dashboard and visualization layer for Resolve Runbook Automation or ‘RBA,’ an IT operations automation application offered by generationE Technologies.

Resolve RBA is a wiki-based runbook automation system that enables enterprises in capturing and automating best practices for IT operations. Able to automate as much as 85 percent of an organization’s IT operations processes, the application can also be customized according to the needs of the enterprises leveraging it. The application cuts down the time spent by expensive subject matter experts manually performing routine IT administration or troubleshooting tasks. It further reduces training time for new IT operations staff, resulting in offering improved operating expense efficiencies.

Leveraging InetSoft’s dashboard reporting software, generationE will be able to add a new visualization layer to the application for monitoring the recent and historical performance of automated processes, so that users won’t need to put in the effort of charting and analyzing log data in external reporting systems.

Style Scope by InetSoft is an easy-to-use interactive dashboard software application that includes real time reporting capabilities. Deploying core Java coding at the server level and HTML, JavaScript, and Flash at the client level, the application is integrated with its ‘Server Oriented Architecture’ or ‘SOA’ architecture and open standards-based technology that makes it an ideal embedding and integration-ready application for dashboards and reporting.

It offers a visually compelling, highly interactive data access to the end users, while a highly customizable, easy to learn and quick to deploy business intelligence toolset and information delivery platform to the solution providers.

Through its built-in drill-through functions, Style Scope helps users in clicking directly from an alert displayed on a monitoring dashboard into Resolve’s root cause analysis function, which speeds up resolution times and increases system uptime. Further, the enterprises will be able to benefit from a new executive dashboard in keeping track of the times newly automated processes have run, and generating a running return on investment or ‘ROI’ for the Resolve RBA application.

In February InetSoft Technology announced to launch its Style Scope Free Edition, a free dashboard software application based on Style Scope, its enterprise-class commercial dashboard product.
