Network Cadence Changes its Name to Verecloud, Developing New Platform for CSPs

Network Cadence has announced the change of its name to Verecloud, and has strategically repositioned itself.

The company said that it’s leveraging its expertise to deliver a new platform enabling communications service providers “CSPs,” to capture share in the emerging cloud computing services market.

According to company officials, CSPs are becoming cloud service aggregators for small and medium-sized businesses, “SMBs.”

John McCawley, president and CEO at Verecloud, noted that CSPs are natural service aggregators with strong customer relationships, making them well-positioned to connect SMBs with a proliferating array of cloud computing solutions such as software as a service “SaaS (News - Alert)” infrastructure as a service “IaaS” and platform as a service “PaaS.”

The company is developing “NIMBUS Marketplace” in order to help CSPs benefit from this opportunity, said company officials. NIMBUS Marketplace is a platform that enables these communications companies to tap into the cloud services market without time-consuming upgrades to current infrastructure, said company officials.

Verecloud’s NIMBUS Marketplace is expected to provide the technology that CSPs need to provide ordering, fulfillment, support and billing of cloud services to the customers.

Using NIMBUS Marketplace platform, CSPs can integrate, aggregate, and mediate cloud services for SMBs. Company officials said that the platform is easy for SMBs to use, CSPs to operate, and service suppliers to integrate.

McCawley said that Verecloud will help CSPs make the switch to delivering advanced cloud-based services in an efficient and profitable manner. “Our company is focused on giving CSPs the solutions they need to deliver advanced cloud services without the need for costly and time-consuming upgrades to their legacy systems.”
