“After a comprehensive review, we were impressed with the flexibility of the GENBAND solution, which not only enables us to migrate to next generation services, but also provides our customers all legacy features without disruption,” says Yanir Saraga, director of telecom engineering at HOT, which as of June 31, 2009, had 700,000 broadband subscribers and more than 500,000 telephony lines. “GENBAND also demonstrated tier 1 support capabilities, long-term stability and an excellent, trusted partner, Bynet, here in Israel.”
The GENBAND softswitch solution includes gateway and softswitch functionality and can be installed in a distributed, centralized, or a combination architecture.
