Bomgar, a company focused on remote access solutions,
reportedly has announced that its “With Built-In Jump” technology enables support technicians to service, maintain and resolve problems with remote unattended computers without moving from their desks.

Alert) assures that its remote desktop control solutions will attend situations that would normally require on-site visits can usually be resolved remotely. Enterprises using Bomgar’s solutions routinely reduce their on-site visits by 25 to 98 percent. This also reduces travel time significantly and support technicians who would often be out of the office and unavailable have more time to attend to other duties.
Support technicians can gain control of as many unattended remote servers, desktops, terminals and Point of Sale systems as necessary with Bomgar’s Jump Technology. Jump is built into Bomgar, so there is no need to purchase additional solutions.

Alert) says that businesses using his solutions have also reduced first call resolution by 20 to 100 percent, eliminated on-site visits by 80 to 100 percent, and decreased call times by 30 to 80 percent.
Also, he said, Bomgar’s remote desktop control is more efficient when compared to desktop support which usually takes more manpower, as support technicians are required to more often visit the location of the remote computer.
