Proposal Software, a provider of comprehensive proposal management platform, has introduced a new standalone ‘Search and Assembly module’ for the company’s PMAPS (proposal management and production system). The new module enhances the proprietary Web-based technologies of PMAPS.
PMAPS is designed to include everything that is required to professionally and efficiently manage the proposal process. The integrated modules include a management component for RFP (request for proposal) tracking and reporting; contact management for keeping track of all requests; completed document assembly; database management; database search; and RFI (

There were three extra modules that were not included in the PMAPS software: the PMAPS Document Portal, PMAPS Search Accelerator and Synch Link. The Document Portal is a separate enterprise-wide web-based module that provides read–only access through the Internet. The Web-based Search Accelerator permits search and also features “pitch-book” (a marketing device/tool) assembly functionality. The Synch Link is designed to coordinate the databases between proposal groups that may be working independently of each other but under a common brand.
The new Web-based Search and Assembly Accelerator module functionally replaces the existing Web-based PMAPS Document Portal, and/or the Read-Only modules.
“We have created a completely web-based/SQL driven product, including all of the existing PMAPS functionality with improvements not found in any other proposal management products,” said John Laurino, CEO of Proposal Software. “It is the best of both worlds for our customers, giving them a new, alternative technology platform with improvements to the existing PMAPS functionality and workflow.”
Other features of the new module include enhanced search text and retrieval functionality of PMAPS; full search preview with the complete formatted document being visible versus thumbnails or text-only views; enhanced compliance workflow utilizing PMAPS segmental and customizable database attributes; and assembly expanded to include PowerPoint files in addition to the existing Word and PDF output options.
The PMAPS software module that includes pitch book feature provides powerful sales and marketing tools that facilitate users to integrate exchange and coordinate data with a variety of external database formats especially in CRM (customer relationship management) platforms.
The new module also offers its customers a unique way to access and maintain the proprietary data while using the PMAPS On Demand hosted SaaS (

The company claims that PMAPS is used by over 200 financial services, investment management, healthcare, legal, and other 1000 organizations.
