Alert), a provider of on-demand business process improvement solutions, has acquired the assets of Soundpath Conferencing Services, LLC, a provider of conferencing services. The purchase price of approximately $20.1 million was funded with Premiere Global’s credit facility.
The acquisition is projected to be accretive (on basis of per unit growth) to Premiere Global’s revenues and earnings beginning in the fourth quarter of 2008.
“Soundpath brings us deep understanding of the vibrant and growing legal industry,” said Boland Jones, founder, chairman and CEO of Premiere Global Services, in a statement. “We look to leverage their relationships and significant expertise to introduce new PGi Communications Operating System applications targeted at this and other professional services verticals in the coming quarters.”
Premiere Global Services is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, and has presence in 23 countries worldwide.

Washington, D.C.-based Soundpath, a wholesale partner of Premiere Global’s Conferencing & Collaboration Solutions since 2002, has an established customer base that includes approximately 40 percent of the top 200 law firms in North America.
