Echoworx (News - Alert), a leading provider of credential management and managed encryption services for complete email and data protection, recently entered a reseller agreement with ISEC7 (News - Alert), a worldwide technology provider and systems integrator for mobile business solutions, for its recently launched mobilEncrypt ENDPOINT solutions for mobile.
The solution, which iPhone (News - Alert), iPad and BlackBerry users can compose, send, download and receive secure, encrypted messages through their existing business email account, will now be a part of Echoworx’ mobile device management (MDM) offerings. Backed by a comprehensive public key infrastructure (PKI) credential management platform and globally recognized Certificate Authority, the solution requires no additional components.
“With the Echoworx Platform, ISEC7 can now bridge the gap between MDM and encryption solutions for their customers as the encryption application can be downloaded and activated without having to retrofit devices or go through complex setups,” said Michael Ginsberg, chief executive officer for Echoworx, in a statement. “Mobile security has become a major focus as organizations try to secure the explosive growth of corporate information being accessed by mobile device users.”
He added, “To that end, email encryption and credential management for mobile have presented significant challenges for IT managers. mobilEncrypt ENDPOINT is the only solution that works natively with devices to deliver easy-to-use encryption and credential management capabilities.”
“We needed a solution that could support multiple mobile operating systems with strong encryption capabilities to satisfy our current and potential customer needs. The solution should also scale to support thousands of large enterprises and Government accounts. I believe that Echoworx meets and exceeds all of our customer expectations,” said Michael Brandt, president of ISEC7 USA.
Recently, Echoworx released its first video to showcase the power and ease of use of mobile encryption using mobilEncrypt ENDPOINT. This on-the-device email encryption solution addresses major concerns that IT managers have had since mobile devices made their way into the corporate environment, such as a lack of comprehensive security, difficulty with email encryption, BYOD (bring your own device) and more.
