U.S. Patent Granted to Callidus iCentera Sales Enablement Platform

Callidus Software (News - Alert), a provider of solutions for Sales Performance Management (SPM), claimed that US. Patent No. 8,046,387 has been granted to iCentera’s sales enablement platform.

iCentera, a provider of on-demand portal software for sales enablement, claimed that it is sales enablement and it has the most advanced yet affordable hosted Sales Enablement Platform. The platform can be deployed to take knowledge from marketing resources to sales teams, partners and customers.

The platform is capable of acting as an alternative to static sales, partner, and customer portals with a single sales enablement system with ability to adapt to needs of the user. The platform also helps users generate more sales revenue through a marketing, sales and customer messaging vehicle.

The company added that the 387’ patent generally covers a system to provide browser accessible portals to enable the configuring, publishing and analyzing of electronic content between multiple users.

Officials with Callidus Software exclaimed that the timely delivery of information is critical to empowering the sales force and facilitating the selling process. The company continues to deliver innovative solutions that allow sales organizations to easily control and optimize the delivery of content to their team members, channel partners and customers, wherever they are, whenever they need it.

This patent is a testament to Callidus’ thought leadership and its innovative sales enablement platform and will enable it to vigorously defend its intellectual property.
