Koenig Solutions Provides Training Course on Linux Troubleshooting Techniques and Tools

Koenig Solutions, provider of offshore IT training and certification, announced that it will now provide training courses on Linux Troubleshooting Techniques and Tools. System administrators interested in learning about troubleshooting issues on a Linux system and also on using troubleshooting tools for Red Hat Enterprise Linux can take part in the Linux Troubleshooting Techniques and Tools (RH142) training boot camp.

Koenig has been recognized as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solutions. The company uses the Microsoft Official Curriculum to design and detail its courses. Students are provided training on all certifications at Koenig. These include MCTS, MCSE, MCPD, MCITP VMware, CEH, CISSP, RHCE, RHCSS, RHCSA, Oracle 11g, 10g & 9i, SQL Server, CCNA, CCNP, CCVP, CCIE and SCJP.

The Linux Troubleshooting Techniques and Tools training camp follows a four-day, lab based format which has been developed to impart skills and methods used for troubleshooting issues. To provide real-time experience on troubleshooting issues, students taking part in the course will work on debugging live systems.

Students interested in taking part in the Linux Troubleshooting Techniques and Tools course will have to meet specific requirements which include Red Hat System Administration I and II or RHCSA Course and having RHCSA certification or displaying experience equal to that. A student is also expected to have knowledge of system administration under Red Hat Enterprise Linux such as installation, service management (example, using service and chkconfig), basic system monitoring (employing ps and top, with meminfo and the /proc filesystem), filesystem management (with fdisk and mkfs), and basic troubleshooting which includes experience with managing log files and using hardware tools such as ethtool and lspci.
