Application Performance Management Launched by VMTurbo

VMTurbo recently announced the launch of Application Performance Management. VMTurbo is one of the leading companies to provide intelligent workload management software to assure application management. With insights into application performance, VMTurbo can derive resource allocation and workload placement decision based on the application resource availability. Virtualized infrastructure resources allocation can be viewed by their application performance management software.

Installed applications can be automatically tracked using VMTurbo’s application performance management software. The infrastructure operations manager based on the business goal can set priority for various applications that are being used in the virtual environment. QoS and efficiency can be maintained by monitoring the individual application performance on resource consumption, and can be suspended; rightsized and other actions can be taken on the programs individually. Popular windows programs like SQL Server and IIS can user VMTurbo’s application performance management software. Support for other operating systems and applications will be added in the subsequent releases of the performance management software.

In a release, Lou Shipley, VMTurbo President and CEO said, “This is a major step towards delivering on our vision of holistically managing the entire IT stack – all the way from the business through the application, virtual and physical resources, to the data center. VMTurbo is the only real-time management solution for the virtualized data center that assures application quality of service while right-sizing the environment.”

Cloud and Virtualized environments can make use of VMTurbo’s intelligent workload management solution. At the heart of the application lies a dynamic scheduling engine to dynamically adjust resource allocation to meet business goals. VMTurbo’s customers can ensure that their applications can get the resources that are required optimally while utilizing other resources in the most efficient way. VMTurbo is competitively priced at $200 per socket or $25 per VM installation for monitoring the applications. It also helps in managing the Quality of Service of the enterprise applications by ensuring optimal resources are used in the underlying virtual infrastructure. VMTurbo Cloud Operations Manager is used worldwide by large organizations that are looking at ways to optimize their infrastructure resources and deliver optimum results to their customers.
