Service providers are able to offer hundreds of profitable applications with Parallels Automation. A portfolio of sought-after Software-as-a-Service or SaaS (News
- Alert) from top independent software vendors or ISVs is available to the service providers. A customized storefront with a set of applications can be now instantly launched by service provider with the addition of Parallels Automation for Cloud Applications. The applications come with pre-negotiated licensing terms and white label support. Both time-to-market and time-to-profitability are therefore dramatically improved.
Parallels has certified customer support solutions as part of the Parallels Automation for Cloud Applications launch. White-label help desk providers, Global Mentoring Systems and Bobcares have certified these solutions. The support burden of service providers when offering new SaaS applications has been therefore eased. For an additional cost, Parallels Professional Services can also implement the storefronts. This can include design of the user interface and back office integration.
In a release, Birger Steen who is the CEO of Parallels said, “Parallels Automation for Cloud Applications is a ‘cloud brokerage’ in a box, radically simplifying the selection of SaaS applications, negotiation of business terms, platform integration, preparation of GTM tools and the setup of a support chain.”
Steen added that in a matter of days, service providers can go from zero to actual market launch with a complete suite of SaaS offering by using Parallels Automation for Cloud Applications.
According to Lorenz Meis, COO of LuxCloud, critical business applications are the need of SMB customers. Apart from easy subscription, these applications should not have upfront costs. There should be also no worries regarding updates and software maintenance for these applications.
Meis said, "Parallels Automation for Cloud Applications meets this critical business need and takes it one step further by enabling our reseller partners to quickly offer on-demand software that SMBs need to compete and thrive."
