MontaVista Automotive Technology Platform Passes GENIVI Compliance Process

MontaVista Software, a provider of solutions for embedded Linux commercialization, claimed that the MontaVista Automotive Technology Platform (ATP (News - Alert)) is now complaint with the GENIVI Compliance Specification Release 1.0.

The GENIVI Alliance asserted that its mission is to drive the broad adoption of an In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) open source development platform by aligning requirements, delivering reference implementations, offering certification programs and fostering a vibrant open source IVI community. The MontaVista (News - Alert) Automotive Technology Platform is GENIVI 1.0 Compliant on the following platforms: Freescale SABRE i.MX53, ARM Cortex-A8 and Renesas R-Car M1, ARM Cortex-A9.
