CryptoFlow Solutions provide tunnel-less VPNs (virtual private networks) that let enterprises, government offices, non-profit institutions and service providers protect any application to any device over any network.
In an interview with TMC’s (News - Alert) Erik Linask at ITEXPO, Adam Boone, chief marketing officer at Certes Networks, explained there are challenges around protecting data in motion. To understand them, he cited the example of a hospital.
“They want to be able to extend that from the data center, say, out to a regional hospital, say, to some doctors and pharmacists, who may be using personal devices at their location,” he said. “They want to be able to extend it into the cloud, perhaps, with some sort of processing.”
“The issue is you need 22, 25, 27 different systems to set up tunnels, to set up VPNs and its extremely fragmented, very, very difficult to manage, very hard to ensure the configuration is correct,” he added. That means there can be gaps and different performance issues if data is not sufficiently protected. That’s where Certes comes in.
“Defragmentation is really what my company does,” Boone said. The protection includes any server, application or endpoint over any network.
“There’s one point of control end-to-end for any app over any network,” Boone said during the interview.
The need for such protection is essential given some current hacking trends, too. John Lochow (News - Alert), CEO of Certes Networks, explained that, “As data breaches continue to skyrocket, Certes is offering enterprises an easier way to encrypt their data communications and not become the next victims of hackers and cyber-criminals.”
