Infinitely Virtual Now Member of Citrix Service Provider Program

Cloud server technology company Infinitely Virtual has announced that it has joined the Citrix Service Provider (CSP (News - Alert)) Program, which is tailored specifically for service providers that deliver software services and hosted applications to end-user customers on a rental, subscription or services basis. CSP partners are entitled to utilize Citrix virtualization products to deliver high-performance, customized hosted offerings.

Infinitely Virtual’s Cloud Server technology is capable of delivering services to any type of business, via terminal servers, SharePoint servers and SQL servers. As a CSP partner, Infinitely Virtual will be able to deliver customized Citrix hosted desktop, application, and mobility offerings, including Citrix’s Netscaler and CloudBridge appliances, for small and midsize businesses. The NetScaler service and application delivery solutions are designed to give SMB organizations the ability to optimize, secure and control the delivery of cloud services and ensure a quality experience for all users, including mobile clients.

Thus, Infinitely Virtual’s new CSP membership allows the company to provide its smaller customers with a range of advanced technologies that previously only large public cloud providers could afford.

Citrix CloudBridge, meanwhile, incorporates several advanced WAN optimization features to ensure a superior experience to users on LANs, WANs or at remote locations. Based on a streamlined physical and virtual model, officials explained, CloudBridge has been designed to enable solutions to grow with an organization’s network and cloud requirements.

For example, Alcatel-Lucent (News - Alert) recently optimized its cloud infrastructure with Citrix cloudBridge.

“Having fast virtual servers is not enough. When you need features like blazing fast connectivity between subnets, lightning load-balancing performance, firewall clustering, SSL VPN security or WAN acceleration, it’s smart to consider adding a Netscaler Appliance Hosting plan to your environment,” CEO of Infinitely Virtual Adam Stern explained in a statement. “By the same token, adding CloudBridge -- the leading WAN acceleration platform – at your site and in your hosting plan is an effective way to achieve local server performance from servers that are in fact offsite.”
