COMPUTERLINKS Partners with iScan Online for Security Scanning Solutions

The one issue businesses of all sizes have in common today is their anxiety over security related to mobile devices. As bring your own device (BYOD) initiatives get adopted by more companies, the threat each device poses when it gets connected with the company's network is very real. COMPUTERLINKS, a distributor of IT security, network performance and Internet technology, recently partnered with iScan Online, which provides advanced scanning and mobility management, to offer enterprise-grade mobile device scanning solutions.

The iScan Online platform is a unique patent-pending technology capable of delivering advanced scanning and mobility management with less time and lower cost. The company provides BYOD and mobile device security by detecting compliance, configuration, data discovery and vulnerabilities on mobile and other types of computing devices. By using cloud technology, iScan can perform scans anytime and anywhere to address the security and compliance issues enterprises face.

The scans can be performed throughout an organization on all the mobile devices at the same time. The platform supports Android, Apple (News - Alert) and Microsoft Windows operating system and devices. It can be integrated with remote monitoring and management solutions from the cloud to give organizations the ability to secure the devices no matter where the employee is located.

Having the iScan platform will give COMPUTERLINKS additional options in its portfolio of security products and services. Resellers will be able to purchase robust comprehensive solutions for their customers no matter what device they are using. With an annual license fee of just £10 -- or $16.20 -- per device, it will bring a new stream of revenue to channels.

"Service providers and resellers are often the experts on whom businesses rely to ensure their network infrastructure is secure and fully compliant. By partnering with COMPUTERLINKS, iScan Online can now offer the channel the tools they need to address the new and serious challenges that BYOD and mobility can pose," said Carl Banzhof, CEO of iScan Online.

COMPUTERLINKS specializes in next-generation IT security and technology, providing U.K. and Irish channel partners, globally recognized service providers and hardware and software manufacturers with low, competitive price points. The company has some of the most recognized vendors, including F5 Networks (News - Alert), Gigamon, IBM, Kaspersky LabMobile and HP.

"While enterprise mobility continues to create new opportunities for the channel and its customers, it has also brought new challenges for security and compliance. The agreement with iScan Online provides our partners with a solution to address these challenges, which can be quickly integrated within their existing security and mobility portfolios and provides valuable additional revenue streams," said Dominic Wordsworth, product group manager at COMPUTERLINKS.
