Talend and Neo Tech Team Up to Give Big Databases NoSQL

Talend, a software provider, has recently partnered with Neo Technology, a global graph database company, to boost the use of NoSQL graphic databases in enterprise systems.

Per the agreement, Neo Tech will provide its Neo4j, the world’s leading graph database. Neo4j is a high-performance graph database that is transactional, durable, and scalable, allowing it to meet the demands of complex data.

"Neo4j's unique approach to solving some of the most critical data challenges has been proven across many thousands of successful deployments, including over 25 of the Global 2000," said Philip Rathle, senior director of products for Neo Technology. "With Neo4j now readily accessible to users of Talend's advanced integration platform, developers can more quickly build and maintain big data applications and move data between systems."

On the other end, Talend will provide its Platform for Big Data and Talend Open Studio for Big Data, which offers users easy connections and analysis of data from disparate systems.

"By partnering with Neo Technology, the creators of the world's leading graph database, Talend is once again advancing our technology and market leadership," said Fabrice Bonan, Co-Founder and Chief Technical Officer, Talend. "Talend is the only integration provider to offer such a broad set of connectors, especially those supporting the big data ecosystem. Neo4j connectors were developed by community members who contributed them to the community, which is a testament to the power of the open source ecosystem for solving complex integration issues and multiplying the reach of our solution."

In addition, Talend will add a new connector for Neo4j developed by Talend’s partner Zenika, a systems integrator specializing in NoSQL and open source platforms.

"Zenika is proud to have contributed Neo4j connectors to the Talend community," said Pierre Queinnec, Chief Technical Officer of Zenika. "More and more of our clients use NoSQL databases, and in particular the Neo4j graph database. The integration of Neo4j with Talend's solutions enables our clients to dramatically increase their return on investment by using Talend's proven technology to load, transform and extract their graph data."
