Evolve IP Looks to Razorsight for Automated Partner Supply Chain Management

Razorsight (News - Alert), a provider of cloud-based analytics for communications service providers, recently added a new client to its roster, cloud services company Evolve IP. The company is to leverage Razorsight's Profit Enhancement Center (PEC) platform to automate the management of its partner supply chain, with the aim of improved financial efficiency, oversight, compliance and visibility.

Razorsight's cloud platform is capable of delivering business intelligence and advanced analytics across a broad range of functions that are critical to financial assurance.

"We selected Razorsight as the best-in-class to manage our suppliers and provide a single view of costs, reporting and infrastructure related activities as our business continues its rapid growth," said Mike Batdorf, Evolve IP's (News - Alert) senior vice president of Business Operations, in a statement. "A key factor was Razorsight's leadership in providing cloud-based financial assurance and analytics for the rapidly evolving communications industry."

Evolve IP is a provider of cloud services which include virtual servers, virtual desktops, unified communications and hosted call centers. The company currently serves more than 800 organizations and experienced a 1,171 percent sales growth over the last three years. As such, Evolve IP has recognized the necessity of automating network supply chain cost management.

Last month, the company had its vServer product named the winner of the 2012 Cloud Computing Excellence Award by TMC (News - Alert). Presented by Cloud Computing Magazine, the award recognized vServer's ability to help businesses improve business continuity, while reducing costs and increasing productivity by way of the cloud. A key component of the Evolved Data Center, vServer is a premier private cloud service that can be access through private connectivity.

Around that time, Razorsight CEO Charlie Thomas was named a winner of the Center for Innovative Technology 2012 GAP 50 Entrepreneur Award, a new statewide award program that celebrates Virginia's next generation of innovative entrepreneurs who create high-growth companies.
