NTT Acquires Cloud Computing Technologies Consulting Company Centerstance

Centerstance, a provider of cloud-enabled business transformation solutions and a Salesforce.com Platinum Cloud Alliance Partner, has inked a definitive agreement to be acquired by NTT (News - Alert), a global IT and telecommunications services company.

NTT looks to expand investment in cloud-related innovations through group companies Dimension Data, NTT Communications (News - Alert) and NTT DATA. The company will deliver cloud computing solutions to clients via cloud service and other delivery models.

Cloud solutions from NTT leverage capabilities that cover the applications lifecycle and managed infrastructure services of the company that are delivered via IP backbones and a network encompassing 200 data centers.

Centerstance, a Salesforce.com (News - Alert) platinum partner in the U.S., is a consulting company that guides companies in identifying and migrating core business processes to the cloud using the Salesforce.com platform.

The company has successfully achieved more than 2000 deployments for clients ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, said officials.

Centerstance and NTT Group companies are expected to work in tandem in order to provide clients a complete cloud computing package including strategy, implementation and management, applications and infrastructure covering the data center, network and mobile devices.

Recently, NTT Communications Corporation joined with Veeva Systems, Inc. to offer its best-in-class global cloud service Biz Hosting Enterprise Cloud to customers in Japan. Veeva Japan has now started a data center in Tokyo that will use NTT Com’s Biz Hosting Enterprise Cloud as a platform.
