Accedian Networks (News - Alert) announced this week that the company sold 100,000 units of its networkdemarcation units. These sales were worldwide and sent around the globe to companies and service providers, making for a major milestone for Accedian Networks, according to company officials.
The company is a provider of High Performance Service Assurance solutions, which provide IP networks and carrier Ethernet services to providers and companies. The new sales will most likely bring in a cash reverse which the company will be able to use in order to set new goals, along with the creation of new products in their niche environment.
According to the company newsletter, the time it took to go from 50,000 to 100,000 units was three times faster than the first 50,000 sales. According to the CEO of Accedian Networks, he believes the growth was based on being there at the right time, in a fast growing market. There's no question that the mobile market is growing at an incredible speed, and mobile backhaul solutions like the ones that the company makes. This allows technologies like business Ethernet to thrive, and the company anticipates a lot of growth in the coming year. The units deliver high performance Ethernet links, which allow customers to deploy modular platform strategies.
The company has also been named the faster growing company in Canada, and the second fastest in North America, according to the Deloitte's (News - Alert) 2011 Fast 50 and Fast 500 programs, based on revenue and market leadership, in the Ethernet mobile backhaul industry. For business Ethernet service providers, the solutions they offer are viable alternative to traditional business lines, and Accedian Networks remained focused on high performance assurance, along with carrier Ethernet mobile backhaul and business service networks. Their MMSP, or modular multi service platform strategy, allows them to stay on top of competition, and allowed them to reach this number of sales.
