eCommerce Provider Avangate Unveils Spring Release of SkyCommerce

Avangate, a provider of eCommerce services, announced the Spring Release of SkyCommerce suite to help small- and medium-size businesses (SMB) engaged in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)), and improve the digital buying experience.

The latest multichannel, multi-model SkyCommerce suite helps software companies target their cross-sells and up-sells for both new and existing clients, and grow their businesses globally through any channel and any model.

With the latest release of the SkyCommerce suite, software companies can craft intentional, fully customizable, in-application and embedded shopper experiences across Web apps, desktop software, mobile devices, social networks and platforms.

“This Spring Release of the SkyCommerce Suite allows our customers to quickly deploy a branded, configurable shopping experience, measure and increase sales conversion rates, all supported by a comprehensive ordering API providing the flexibility to leverage the growing number of customer commerce touch points,” said Michael Ni, CMO/SVP, Marketing and Products for Avangate.

The new SkyCommerce comes with expanded API helping software companies monetize their software and SaaS solutions at any touch point by embedding merchandising, ordering and subscriptions management capabilities within any shopper experience. The solution also ensures a consistent and unified set of offers, messages and capabilities.

Another new feature, myAccount 2.0, allows software vendors to quickly offer a branded self-service capability to their customers so that they can manage their software downloads and subscriptions.

Spring Release of SkyCommerce also features inherent CRM integration and shopper templates, which accelerate software vendor time to market. The release unifies business reporting and customer insight via the Salesforce.com (News - Alert) connector. It also allows expanded order process configurability and new purchasing templates to support improved branding and conversion.

“This latest release gives us the opportunity to highly target our cross-sell and up-sells for both new and existing clients,” said Philip Petrescu, CEO of Caphyon. “The new features will not only accelerate our launch and growth of our upcoming SaaS solutions, but also enable us to provide a well-defined, seamless ordering and support experience."

Avangate also upgraded its flagship online payment platforms, Dankort and UKash, in an attempt to target new customers in Middle Eastern and Latin American countries. The payment solution vendor added localization capabilities to its payment methods so as to make them ideal choices for software and SaaS companies in emerging economies.
