Fujitsu's Cloud Appliance Implements OCZ's SSDs

SAN Velocity, the latest NuVola Private Cloud Platform Solution Appliance from Fujitsu, will now pair with OCZ Technology Group Inc.’s Deneva 2 solid state drives (SSD). The ApplicationSmart software from Assurance Storages is also used by Fujitsu’s (News - Alert) SAN Velocity appliance.

“As more and more businesses face the ever increasing challenges associated with managing and processing massive amounts of data, our SSD technology is the ideal fit for this exciting tiered storage solution which addresses database and cloud applications head on," said Alex Mei, CMO of OCZ Technology.

The ApplicationSmart software from Assurance Storage has been incorporated with Fujitsu's server hardware in the SAN Velocity appliance, offering smart, autonomic data cache and tier management advantages to customers. The importance of data is associated with the importance of OCZ Deneva 2 SSD storage and Assurance Storage's software, thereby allowing the SAN Velocity appliance customers to enhance the performance for an array of very important business applications.
