Yardi Unveils Voyager S for Residential and Commercial Property Managers

The Yardi Voyager is a fully-integrated, web-based, enterprise management system that was designed for property owners, managers, and investors in global real estate markets. Yardi now has released the Software as a Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) version of the solution, Voyager S.

Voyager S is packed with all the features of the latest version of the Voyager solution and is available for residential and commercial clients in North America.

Yardi Systems explained that the Yardi Voyager Residential is termed as a single system property management that centralizes accounting and property management data in a single database while Yardi Voyager Commercial is a complete set of management and accounting tools for office, retail, and industrial property management designed specifically for commercial property ranging from small portfolios to large global enterprises. In general, the Yardi Voyager solution removes the need for users to transfer data and lets them work more efficiently, streamline and automate workflows, and improve interdepartmental collaboration.

Initially the new Voyager S will offer implementations in reporting and be supporting Microsoft (News - Alert) reporting services and later iPad, tablet and Mac support will be integrated. The Voyager S will be available to users in two version and they are Voyager SaaS and Voyager SaaS Select.

With Voyager SaaS, each client will be allotted their own secure database whose configuration will be based on best practices and clients can also customize the solution’s features to suit their personal needs. The Voyager SaaS Select on the other hand is for companies that have specific SOX and SSAE upgrade policies. Voyager SaaS Select is slated to be available in the Yardi Cloud or in a Private Cloud, a new offering that will be made available as an option to those clients choosing SaaS Select.
