Nexcess Makes Its Magento Web Hosting Packages Available For U.K. E-Commerce Start-Ups

Magento is the chosen e-commerce platform for the businesses aspiring to grow and expand their online businesses. With this expansion of Nexcess, the official Magento hosting provider, the European webmasters get a new set of low-end options for hosting the Magento shopping cart platform. 

Through its Secured Isolated Platform (SIP), Nexcess offers a PCI (News - Alert) compliant and custom web hosting environment that is secured and optimized specifically for hosting Magento eCommerce websites.   Nexcess’ "SIP-100" and "SIP-200" Magento web hosting packages are designed for small, entry-level Magento stores were previously available exclusively in the United States. The new offering, according to the company was designed with the scalability needs of large, enterprise clients in mind, providing the technical platform for limitless growth potential on successful Magento shops.

Additionally, these complex hosting arrangements will provide increased security measures to protect sensitive financial data via private firewall and intrusion detection appliances, the securing of database and file servers behind the Nexcess private network, and private VPN access for the site's owners, the company said in a separate release.
