FireScope Announces Availability of FireScope Unify for FlexPod

FireScope (News - Alert), a provider of on-demand solutions for aligning customers’ technology performance to their business and customer experiences, stated that its new FireScope Unify for FlexPod delivers converged management and automation for the complete FlexPod for VMware stack from a single, dynamic interface.

According to the company, the FireScope Unify features a drag-and-drop rack builder that makes configuring and scaling converged racks easy. Administrators simply drag hardware resources into a rack, specify the appropriate API integration point for data collection, and configuration is complete. The company claimed that no other solution compares with FireScope's ease of configuration, maintenance and use.

One of the clients of FireScore acknowledged that FireScope’s speed of deployment allowed it to provide a comprehensive cloud solution rapidly addressing the technology and operational needs of customers. The solution offered a competitive advantage in time to value and confidence for customers knowing that their business services are highly available.

Businesses now are investing in VMware-powered clouds to enhance the way they conduct business and in order to receive maximum return on investment they have to ensure highly available, optimally performing user experiences for all applications running from the cloud. The new FireScope Unify can help in that regard by offering organizations with a converged view of the health and performance of the entire virtual and physical stack, from environmental to user experiences, and aligned by the critical services being delivered.

The company explained that at the heart of the solution lies an HTML5/Canvas visualization of a FlexPod for VMware that takes advantage of direct API access to the NetApp Filers, Cisco (News - Alert) Unified Computing System (UCS) blades and VMware vSphere to provide unparalleled visibility into health and utilization across domains.

Officials with FireScope asserted that cloud initiatives are driven by the business needs that include greater agility for business units and the services they provide, reducing the cost and time to deliver those services to their customers and leveraging their competitive advantages. With this in mind, it is imperative to execute cloud initiatives to deliver relevant business outcomes such as gaining market share or one’s businesses response to a competitive threat.

Some of the features and benefits of FireScope Unify are: fastest time to deployment; only enterprise management solution that employs workflow, inline help and wizards to make configuration highly accessible; the Agent Manager enables centralized, automated management and updates of agents; uses English-like, plain-language definition of events; blends an Enterprise Service Bus with web-based wizards so users don’t have to code; easiest enterprise management solution to support with automation of maintenance tasks; and more.
