A BATM subsidiary and a provider of multi-service Ethernet edge solutions Telco Systems (News - Alert) recently appointed telecommunication industry veteran Itzik Weinstein as its new chief executive officer (CEO). Weinstein is expected to support the company’s growth in the telecommunication sector.
Telco Systems is currently rolling out itsnext generation solutions. Last month, the company acquired ANDA Networks (News - Alert) and also launched a set of new MPLS and mobile backhaul solutions. The appointment of Weinstein is a part of the company’s expansion process. As the CEO of Telco Systems, Weinstein is expected to make significant contributions to the company’s long term growth.

The telecommunications market is an important part of BATM’s future growth strategy and the recent moves we have made with Telco Systems will help ensure the company’s long-term growth.”
Weinstein has over 20 years of management experience and a strong track record in the telecommunications and hi-tech industries. In the span of his career, he was associated with such companies as VocalTec, NetManage, KLA-Tencor Corp., Scitex Corp., and Intel (News - Alert).
Before joining Telco, Weinstein was president and CEO of ECtel, a provider of revenue management solutions to the telecommunications industry.

Telco Systems recently announced that K-PowerNet has selected the company to provide the demarcation solution for their mobile backhaul network serving northeast Oklahoma and southwest Missouri.
