Panaya Launches the First Upgrade Automation Solution for Oracle EBS

Panaya, provider of ERP Upgrades and Test Automation SaaS solutions, has launched the first Upgrade Automation software for the Oracle (News - Alert) E-Business Suite R12. This new SaaS-based solution will simulate the upgrade on a cloud-based supercomputer, enabling Oracle customers to identify what will crash during the Oracle EBS R12 upgrade and the ways to fix it. This will result in a 50 percent saving in cost and effort involved in the upgrades of Oracle EBS. The non-invasive solution takes just 20 minutes to be set up.

"After establishing our solutions as the de facto standard for SAP (News - Alert) upgrades, it was only natural to broaden our reach into other ERP markets. Panaya will exhibit its Oracle EBS upgrade solution at the 2011 Collaborate conference to be held in Orlando, FL. Panaya has helped numerous SAP customers like Sony, Mercedes-Benz, Bosch and The Home Depot to upgrade their ERP projects and is now helping its Oracle EBS customers in the upgrades.

In other news, Panaya recently secured $7 million in Series C funding. The funding was led by Battery Ventures. Previous rounds were led by Benchmark Capital and the Tamares Group.
