Nexaira's Partnership with Cbeyond Increases Network Reliability

As businesses keeping pace with evolving technology, they become increasingly dependent on networks for all their Internet, Intranet and e-mail needs. The onus on networks being reliable thus gathers more significance. Network Reliability is touted by vendors, who claim to include reliability features as an inherent component of their offerings. Nexaira Wireless Inc., has entered into a joint agreement with Cbeyond to enable small-to-medium sized businesses to remain “always on.”

Bob Smith, senior director of product marketing for Cbeyond (News - Alert) praised Nexaira's routers for their price and functionality and added that a combination of Cbeyond’s IT and communications solutions and Nexaira’s High Availability Router with advanced routing protocols would alleviate any concern about network reliability and would allow businesses to focus on their prime work.

Nexaira Wireless Inc., a best-in-class provider of customized wireless routing solutions for 3G/4G business applications, provides 3G and 4G routing products with the business class features traditionally found only on wireline products.

Under the terms of the agreement, Nexaira will provide its High Availability Business Class Router with Cbeyond’s specific firmware. The wireless broadband backup and WAN failover service that ensues will benefit Cbeyond customers.

In a press release, J.R Yakel, vice president of sales for Nexaira, Inc., said that by providing Cbeyond with automated wireless broadband backup, Nexaira would extend its customer reach as its reliable

router would be included as an offering to Cbeyond's customers allowing them to experience a network that doesn't have a downtime.

In a related news release, Nexaira Wireless Inc., announced the introduction of its "RB 2400 M" Business Class Router Board for wireless solutions integrators and Machine-to-Machine applications. It allows for easy integration into existing products to leverage the convenience, speed and security of M and its seamless interconnection to 3G/4G wireless networks.
