New Sandicor MLS Software for Realty in San Diego

San Diego’s MLS listing service provider Sandicor recently announced the release of Fusion MLS. The listing service provider clarified in a statement that the new MLS system is designed to provide an efficient alternative to TEMPO for accessing Sandicor's San Diego MLS data.

Owned by four Association of REALTORS within San Diego, Sandicor is one of the largest and most active Multiple Listing Services in the U.S. The company said nearly 22,000 members trust its online database of active residential listings, as well as history of non-active listings for the counties of San Diego, Riverside, Orange (News - Alert) and Imperial, in addition to comprehensive tax records for the entire state of California.

In the press release, Sandicor informed that its Fusion MLS was developed by CoreLogic. It further informed that this next generation of MLS software provides a fast, fun, and easy MLS experience that emphasizes search multi-tasking, agent/client collaboration, home page personalization and more.

However, Fusion MLS uses the same backend database as TEMPO, and agents are free to choose either from TEMPO, Fusion MLS, or both for their searches.

The company said in its press release that Fusion MLS can be used on Mac and Linux computers, as well as any full browsers capable of running Adobe Flash Player 10.1 or higher—such as Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

The company continued that though Fusion MLS is compatible with Internet Explorer (IE), it is recommended that IE be reserved for TEMPO searches since the IE settings on agents' computers are optimized for TEMPO.

In a statement by CIO for Sandicor, Jeremy Crawford said: “If you own a Mac computer or like using Firefox, Chrome, or Safari browsers, Fusion MLS is a great new option for Sandicor subscribers. Remember, Fusion MLS is simply an additional way to access the same MLS data with the latest technological advancements in features and user interface design; it is not a conversion.”

Currently, Phase 1 and 2 of Fusion MLS are installed and available to all Sandicor MLS participants and subscribers now as a free member benefit; Sandicor plans to release Phase 3 in Q1 2011.

Sandicor has already started offering Fusion MLS classes at the Associations.

Earlier this month, Sandicor announced that it has started to implement the next generation of intelligence-driven authentication, Scout for SAFEMLS by Clareity Security, into their San Diego MLS. Through a statement, the company said this SaaS (News - Alert) (software as a service) solution was designed to improve cost, convenience and security while monitoring and reporting on account sharing by users of MLS systems.
