AquaLiv Implements Bioinformation Technology into Infotone Face Mist

Infrared Applications, Inc., a security and safety focused company that provides enhanced solutions and applications for a variety of industries and emerging technologies through a number of its wholly owned subsidiaries, announced that AquaLiv, Inc., a subsidiary of the company, introduced Infotone Face Mist, the first product of its new Infotone skin care brand that incorporates Bioinformation Technology solutions.

Leveraging enhanced technological advancements, Infrared Applications integrates wireless operation and infrared imaging to create systems that are redundant and enable seamless operation for a range of security applications for aviation, industrial infrastructure, military, homeland defense and private markets. AquaLiv, Inc., a life sciences research and development company deploys technology solutions for develop biological information science products that benefit the industries of water purification, environmental science, agriculture, animal husbandry, personal use products, and medicine.

A purse-sized mister that helps in improving skin through simple spring water, Infotone Face Mist comprises of ceramic ball that enhances water with the qualities of several skin-activating compounds, leveraging a special bioinformation technology instead of any chemical ingredients.

“This is the first skin care product to utilize our BioT Bioinformation Technology,” commented Craig Hoffman (News - Alert), chief executive officer at AquaLiv, in a press release. “We are delivering the healing benefits of natural compounds, such as Vitamin C and Squalene, without the need to extract these ingredients from nature. This product is truly the first of its kind.”

Using the BioT ceramic, regular water is converted into a powerful tonic that boosts optimal hydration and clear, youthful, glowing skin when misted over the face. During an extensive research, the solution was found to enhance hydration, suppleness, firmness, and texture and reduce dryness, oxidation, wrinkles, skin pigmentation and blemishes.

“No other water mister on the market today utilizes AquaLiv’s BioT Bioinformation Technology,” said Bill Wright, chief executive officer at Infrared Systems International, in a statement. “This mister contains no ingredients that must be harvested or extracted from nature and can even be refilled with common spring water for up to a year. BioT is the ultimate green technology.”

In July 2010, IBM (News - Alert) and the University of Missouri announced a new life sciences research initiative that will make use of IBM’s high performance computing technologies to further the school’s bioinformatics research projects.
