Fujitsu Wins 2010 Vendor Award of Excellence from Ingram Micro

Fujitsu, the market leader in document imaging scanners, was recognized with the 2010 Vendor Award of Excellence in the "Content Management" category by Ingram Micro, the world's largest technology distributor, at Ingram Micro (News - Alert) Marketing Symposium held in Anaheim, Calif., in November.

Leading and emerging technology manufacturers and developers were honored by Ingram Micro's annual Vendor Awards of Excellence for outstanding overall IT channel performance and partnership. Significant achievement against measurable objectives, such as revenue, profitability, marketing programs, partner enablement and services, are demonstrated by the award winners.

"Fujitsu (News - Alert) is a channel-friendly vendor that continues to push the envelope with innovative and tangible marketing and sales enablement tools that help our mutual channel partners earn more business," said Kevin Prewett, vice president of vendor management for Ingram Micro U.S, in a press release. "We are pleased to award Fujitsu with the Ingram Micro Vendor Award of Excellence for Content Management."

"We are honored to receive Ingram Micro's Vendor Award of Excellence," said Nina Lutjens, vice president of sales for Fujitsu Computer Products of America in a press release. "We are very proud of our close collaboration with Ingram Micro and our contributions to helping produce such impressive results on a consistent basis."

Hundreds of the IT industry's leading and emerging technology manufacturer partners, along with Ingram Micro associates, attended the 2011 Ingram Micro Marketing Symposium, which was held Nov. 17, in Anaheim, Calif.

Fujitsu, with approximately 170,000 employees, supports customers in 70 countries. To deliver added value to customers, it combines a worldwide corps of systems and services experts with highly reliable computing and communications products and advanced microelectronics.

In related news, Ingram Micro EMEA, a division of Ingram Micro, Inc.,  acquired Spanish distribution company Arete Sistemas and its specialized solutions division, Arkenova Sistemas.
