L-com Releases DG9037 Series Adapters for DB37 Connector

The release of DG9037 series of DB37 low profile right angle adapters has been announced by L-com, Inc. Clearance in tight spaces is provided by these adapters. This is possible as cables are allowed to connect at a 90 degree angle. L-com (News - Alert) is a top company in the manufacture of wired and wireless connectivity products around the world.

Ninety-degree angle adapters have been carried for years by L-com. However, the unusual DB37 connector has been accommodated for the first time with this latest adapter. The DB37 connector is commonly used in complex instrumentation. Available in "exit 1," "exit 2," and "exit 3" styles, each adapter series comes in male to female. The cable can therefore come off the adapter in either direction. Male thumbscrews or female standoffs can be accepted by the male or female end as the hardware is reversible.

DB9 right angle adapters, DB15 right angle adapters, HD15 or VGA right angle adapters, DB25 right angle adapters and DB37 right angle adapters are included in the current list of right angle adapters from L-com. All these adapters are available in "exit 1," "exit 2," and "exit 3" styles. L-com’s current list of right angle adapters also includes Replacement 4-40 screws for right angle adapters.

In a press release, Steve Smith, product manager of L-com, said, "Our right angle D-sub adapters are cost effective and efficient and they remain very popular. I expanded this line because customers requested it."

A wide range of solutions and unmatched customer service for the electronics and data communications industries are offered by L-com. Cable assemblies, connectors, adapters, computer networking components, and custom products are included in the company’s product portfolio. L-com’s product portfolio also includes the company’s Hyperlink line of wireless products which are designed for WiFi, WiMAX (News - Alert), SCADA, 802.11a/b/g/n, RFID and Bluetooth applications. Antennas, RF Amplifiers, Coaxial lightning and surge protectors, and NEMA rated enclosures are included in this line of wireless products.
